Hunley made it to the History as the first underwater ship that was documented to sank the enemy ship. It happened during the Civil war in North America.
On the Feb. 17th, 1864 Hunley has successfully attacked "U.S.S. Housatonic". She never made home though. Hunley was found only in 1995 with all the crew members in their positions.
